We love food movies, like L.O.V.E. them! Our all-time favorite is The Hundred Foot Journey But a VERY close second is Chef! What could be better than a movie about food trucks?…well actual food trucks!

If you are in the Milwaukee area or close by you should run to Zócalo, it is a food truck park that simply can not be missed! It is a perfect collaboration between James Beard Semifinalist Bryant’s Cocktail Lounge and Wisconsin’s first food truck park.

Where to begin? There is so much goodness here! The food trucks are all lined up making it easy for you to choose your meal, or in our case meals. We sampled from two trucks, Modern Maki and Mazorca Tacos! All we can say about that is, “yes please” and “thank you!”

There is so much goodness here to choose from; therotating selection of trucks, to the beautiful socially distanced indoor seating to the outdoor greenhouses that can be reserved to dine in.

Inside they feature seasonally-inspired, award-winning cocktails in an atmosphere that is designed to keep guests and staff safe, sanitary, and spirited.

With the hardships of Covid, Zócalo has done an amazing job at keeping thier customers feel safe and comfortable! They have minimized points of contact through physical spacing of guests, rigorous sanitation protocols, and touchless payment through CashDrop. We love the outdoor greenhouses that can be reserved, they are almost magical!

We cannot wait to go back, especially in the summer when its warm! It’s a great place for a weekend get-out-of-the-house-before-life-turns-into-the-shining destination, a date night spot, or bring your whole crew!
