A Canvas For Flavor
Summer is creeping closer and avocado toast is always on the menu. Avocado toast can be so much more than mashing up an avocado, adding some salt and pepper, and maybe getting a little wild and adding an egg. Think of your average avocado toast as a canvas for you to add colors, textures, and tons of flavor!

Ingredients
2 pieces of really good toast, may we suggest Hewn Bread if you are in the Chicagoland area
Ripe avocados (2-3)
2-3 cloves finely chopped garlic
1/2 lime
arugula
red onion, thinly sliced
scallions, thinly sliced
soft boiled egg
flake salt, pepper and sesame seeds
optional bacon
Process for Your Restaurant Worthy Avocado Toast
Mash your avocado with a pinch of salt and pepper and your finely chopped garlic and a squeeze of lime. Toast your bread, spread your avocado mixture on top of your toast. Now pile it up with your thinly sliced onion, chopped scallions, bacon, and arugula. Top it with your soft boiled egg, flake salt, pepper, and sesame seeds. Now, our friends, you have a restaurant worthy avocado toast!
